Don't Skimp on Sleep - if you don't sleep enough your body looks for another way to find energy. You tend to eat to get energy or take in more calories to stay awake.

Combine diet and exercise - just because you work out does not mean you can eat anything you want if you desire results

Try not to stress - high stress works a lot like lack of sleep. This can cause you to overeat or eat to cope with stress. Work on controlling the stress in your life. Play a little, laugh a little more. Life is short.

Don't look at food as your enemy - if you spend all your time trying to label foods as good or bad you will set yourself up for a binge. Eat what your body burns as far as calories. Without food your body goes into starvation mode and your metabolism becomes sluggish or slow to compensate.

Try a new approach - If you're not getting results try something new. It sometimes takes time to shock the body out of an inefficient state. Engage the metabolism through frequent small feedings. Do not starve the body into sluggishness!!!
